Wage Scale for Apprentices
- 55% of Journeymen: $16.50 (0 – 499 hours)
- 60% of Journeymen: $18.00 (500 – 999 hours)
- 65% of Journeymen: $19.50 (1000 – 1999 hours)
- 70% of Journeymen: $21.00 (2000 – 2999 hours)
- 75% of Journeymen: $22.50 (3000 – 3999 hours)
- 80% of Journeymen: $24.00 (4000 – 4999 hours)
- 90% of Journeymen: $27.00 (5000 – 5999 hours)

Eligibility and Application Process
Applications are accepted year-round. Prospective apprentices can apply through our local union offices where they will be asked to attend an orientation session and complete an aptitude test. To be eligible for the apprenticeship program, candidates must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a basic math test
- Undergo a drug screening
Jurisdiction
- West Virginia: Ohio, Marshall, Brooke, and Hancock counties.
- Ohio: Belmont, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson, Monroe, and Muskingum counties.
